HERE Lidar Data Platform

  1. HLD platform is the first of its kind, facilitating users to quickly source Lidar data from the HERE library with 0 human intervention.
  2. With release of this platform, we have migrated from earlier sales team assisted model to the self serve model for sourcing lidar data.
  3. This reduces our overall operational cost while helping our users with better flexibility in data format, region, and delivery mode.
  4. The product was further integrated with HERE marketplace (https://www.here.com/platform/marketplace) to provide users with unified cart and checkout experience in line with other HERE products.

UniMap

  1. Our users rely on us to provide them the fresh data as soon as possible, availability of which directly effects the end consumer driving experience.
  2. The map creation begins with sourcing data from various sources like lidar, mapillary, RSD etc.
  3. This is further conflated to select the best and freshest data which is then subjected to automated validation to affirm its accuracy.
  4. Our automation engines fix any identifiable discrepancy in the conflated data, and the map is further submitted for manual quality review before creating the product layer for customer delivery.
